Variable name					Description
sales		Cigarette sales in packs	Monthly series of manufactured cigarette plus hand-rolled sales. Thirty grams of hand-rolled tobacco are considered to be equivalent to one pack of 20 manufactured cigarettes.
british		Number of tourists from the UK	Monthly series of numbers of tourists entering Spain from the United Kingdom.
french		Number of visitors from France	Monthly series of numbers of visitors (tourists plus same-day visitors) entering Spain from France.
unemployment	Unemployment rate		Monthly series of unemployment rates.
price		Average price of cigarettes	Monthly series calculated respectively (for manufactured and hand-rolling cigarettes) as the ratio between the value of sales in euros and the volume of sales in millions of packs). The final average price was calculated by weighting each type of cigarette's average price based on its sales.
