Our empirical analysis is based on the IAB Establishment Panel (Version IABBP_9315_v1). The data set is described in detail in Ellguth, P.,  Kohaut, S., Möller, I.(2014), The IAB Establishment Panel—methodological essentials and data quality. Journal for Labour Market Research 47(1-2): 27-41.

To reproduce our results, you can access the data via the FDZ of the Institute for Employment Research (fdz.iab.de) and use the Stata do-files provided by us. After adjusting the globals in the master do-file (JBNST_master_german_model.do) and storing the other do-files in the respective directory, starting the master do-file will create the results reported in the paper from the original data set.
